Step.2 Production Width in mm

The size of the production width can be used for different grinding occasions.
The production width of a grinding product refers to the range of grinding sizes that can be produced during the production process. The wider the production width, the more types and sizes of products can be produced, which is very important for meeting market demand and increasing product competitiveness.

What are “open”, “semi-open” and “closed” coated abrasives?

“Open Coating”
✔️The abrasive covers approximately 50% to 70% of the surface.
✔️The cutting force and speed are weaker.
✔️It is most suitable for polishing natural soft materials such as aluminum, pine, spruce, brass, copper, and zirconium.
✔️The gaps covered with gravel make it unsuitable for finer and more uniform polishing work.
“Semi-open coating”
✔️ The abrasive is reduced by about 30%.
✔️ Semi-open coating and open sandpaper are abrasives with lower levels of abrasive manufacturing on their backings.
✔️ The cutting force is slightly stronger than that of an open coating surface, but its cutting force is still lower than that of closed coating abrasives.

“Closed coating”
✔️ 95% to 100% of the surface is covered by abrasive material.
✔️ Suitable for hand sanding or processing harder wood and metal surfaces.
✔️ Provides fast, aggressive cutting and ultra-fine surface finishing.

Step.7 Grit

The size of grinding particles has a significant impact on grinding efficiency, product quality, and energy consumption. In this regard, the effects of particle size on the grinding process and product quality will be discussed from several aspects. First of all, the particle size affects the grinding efficiency. Generally speaking, the smaller the particle size, the higher the grinding efficiency, because the small particles can penetrate into the material being ground, thereby increasing the effective grinding area. In addition, the surface of small particles can better contact with the material being ground, which further improves the grinding efficiency.
Secondly, the particle size also affects the energy consumption of the grinding equipment. Generally, grinding requires a large amount of energy, and the smaller the particle size, the stronger the grinding ability, resulting in higher energy consumption. Therefore, it is necessary to control the particle size through reasonable design during the grinding process in order to reduce energy consumption.
Size | The particle size of sandpaper is usually indicated by the grit number, such as P60, P100, P240, where P stands for “sandpaper”. The smaller the particle size, the greater the grinding force, and the rougher the grinding effect, and vice versa. |
Density | The particle density of sandpaper is usually expressed in density units, such as low density, medium density, high density, etc. The greater the particle density, the stronger the grinding force, but the grinding speed will also be slower. |

Step.9 Article No. – simplify the ordering process (please use for your orders)
Step.10 Pcs./ Unit
PCS Unit is commonly used to calculate the quantity of parts or finished products in the manufacturing process. It is a fundamental unit of measurement that can intuitively represent the number of items. For example, in the process of manufacturing a vehicle, PCS Unit can be used to calculate the number of screws on each wheel to ensure that each wheel has the same number of screws. Additionally, PCS Unit can also be used to calculate the quantity of parts in the assembly process to better control the manufacturing process.
Moreover, PCS Unit can also be used for package measurement in the logistics industry. In the logistics process, it is often necessary to calculate the quantity and volume of packages to ensure accuracy and efficiency in transportation. PCS Unit can directly represent the quantity of packages and can be combined with other measurement units such as volume and weight to improve the precision and efficiency of logistics transportation.
