Should I choose STARCKE products by brand or by process?
Start with the process: metalworking, woodworking, paint correction or preparation for polishing. Then check the machine and surface requirements. Products from the same brand can differ in abrasive, backing and dry or wet use restrictions.
Can waterproof and ordinary abrasive paper be interchanged?
Check whether the grade is approved for wet sanding and whether the backing and machine are suitable. Appearance or matching grit alone does not establish interchangeability.
How do I check whether a STARCKE disc fits my machine?
Confirm diameter, hole pattern, adhesive or hook-and-loop attachment, machine and backing-pad specifications. Photos of the current abrasive and pad help us identify the requirements.
How should I select grits for automotive refinishing?
Identify whether the task is filler levelling, primer sanding or clear-coat correction. Arrange the grit sequence according to the coating system and finish requirements; different stages need different settings.
What information is needed if I already have a STARCKE grade?
Provide the full grade designation, grit, dimensions, hole pattern or attachment, quantity and application so we can check product and supply conditions.
What if I do not know which STARCKE product to choose?
Send HONXIN the workpiece material, machine, current abrasive and process photos. We can identify candidate specifications and compare efficiency and surface quality through trial grinding.
